I have tired and owned almost every envelope filter made. A good friend of mine brought his Groove Regulator to one of my gigs and I was completely blown away with it. The sound of this thing is amazing! When I got home, I spent a good hour AB'ing it side by side with my HAZ Lab Mutron III. The Mutron has been 'The Envelope Filter' for me for the longest time. The Groove Regulator is way ahead of the Mutron. It is less than half the size of the Mutron, very easy to configure and best of all, the low end is intact!
